Cobalt Named in Inc. 5000 for the Fourth Year in a Row

We are excited to announce that Inc. Magazine has released its annual list of America's fastest-growing private companies, and for the fourth consecutive year, Cobalt has secured a spot on the list! The Inc. 5000 list ranks the nation's rapidly growing private businesses, and this year, Cobalt is proud to have been ranked at 3,267.

About the Inc. 5000 List

The 2024 Inc. 5000 list is highly competitive and showcases the top companies in their respective markets. It highlights businesses that have achieved success despite facing continual changes. This year's Inc. 5000 class features companies that have experienced rapid revenue growth despite inflationary pressure, increasing capital costs, and challenging hiring conditions.

“We are extremely proud to celebrate four consecutive years of making the Inc. 5000 list, which demonstrates the sustained momentum Cobalt has built over the past few years,” said Cobalt CEO Chris Manton-Jones. “This recognition is not only a testament to our team's dedication and innovation but also a reflection of how we pioneered PtaaS, shaping the essential role of offensive security in today’s rapidly evolving threat landscape. We believe that our people and our products are leading the charge in this vital industry, and this honor reinforces our position at the forefront of cybersecurity.”

Inc. 5000 Methodology

Companies on the 2024 Inc. 5000 are ranked according to percentage revenue growth from 2020 to 2023. To qualify, companies must have been founded and generating revenue by March 31, 2020. They must be U.S.-based, privately held, for-profit, and independent—not subsidiaries or divisions of other companies—as of December 31, 2023. (Since then, some on the list may have gone public or been acquired.) The minimum revenue required for 2020 is $100,000; the minimum for 2023 is $2 million. As always, Inc. reserves the right to decline applicants for subjective reasons. Growth rates used to determine company rankings were calculated to four decimal places.
