Now introducing Cobalt's newest podcast: Hacker Corner. Hacker Corner is a podcast by hackers for hackers led by Cobalt Core Pentester Sheeraz Ali. In each episode, Sheeraz will host another member of the Cobalt Core to break down technical topics and talk about real-life experiences. On the inaugural episode of Hacker Corner, Sheeraz chats with Saad Nasir, a Core Pentester and Redteamer for SolarWinds, about the differences between Redteaming and Pentesting. The two talk about the differences, getting started in both, if certificates matter, and more. 

 

About our Guest

Saad Nasir is a Red Teamer and Cloud Security Expert with extensive knowledge in network and database administration; he has a wide range of expertise in Red Teaming, Web Applications, and Mobile Pentesting. When Saad is free, you’ll find him working to further his skills, engaging with his local community, and playing golf and cricket.

About our Host

Sheeraz Ali is an information security professional with 3+ yrs of corporate experience with expertise in Web, Network, Active Directory, and Linux Security. Sheeraz is an avid open-source supporter and contributes to multiple open-source projects: Mobexler and CodeVigilant. He contributes to multiple Open communities like null and GDG Bhopal. He has also helped establish a local chapter in his hometown null BhopalGDG Bhopal, and FDC Bhopal. He has been a speaker at conferences such as Nullcon, c0c0n, Seasides, and BSides.
